BDO UK has promoted 14 of its senior staff to the role of partner, effective from 5 July 2014.
The 14 promotions were a response to the UK's economic recovery and a consequence of last year's merger with PKF UK, BDO UK said in a statement.
"Last year's merger boosted our turnover, geographical footprint and sector expertise. As the economy turns the corner we want to build on that momentum," BDO UK managing partner Simon Michaels said.
"These fourteen new partner appointments will ensure we are well placed to meet our ambitions for growth and ensure we retain our position as number one for client service. They also demonstrate our commitment to developing the next generation of leaders across the firm."
The new partners are: Tim Neathercoat (audit), Dominic Stammers (audit), James Shipp (business services and accounting), Vanessa Bradley (business assurance), Alex Ellerton (advisory), Tomas Freyman (valuations), Richard Morley (tax investigations), Dawn Register (tax disputes and disclosures), Steve Smurthwaite (advisory), Chris Chapple (T tax), Neil Stockham (tax), Paul Daly (tax), Paul Knight (tax) and Emma Suchland (tax).
