AGN International has appointed Malcolm Ward as the association's chief executive.
Ward has over 30 years experience in the profession and has previously worked as the Grant Thornton UK London office managing partner as well as Grant Thornton International Asia-Pacific leader.
Ward succeeds Nicholas Blake, who retired at the end of May after 18 years as the associations chief executive.
Randy Redwitz, AGN's International chair and managing partner of Robert R. Redwitz & Co., Irvine, CA said: "Malcolm's deep professional services management background, international experience and various high-profile roles mean that he will be a formidable new asset for AGN."
"I firmly believe that the strength of Malcolm's leadership credentials will bring a very positive perspective to all our current member firms, our staff worldwide and prospective member firms as we grow AGN International into the future."
