BDO US has taken on the staff and partners from Fort Worth based firm Hartman Leito & Bolt, effective 1 June.
Hartman Leito & Bolt, a member of the BDO Seidman Alliance since 2002, has 60 staff including 6 partners. The combination of both brings BDO's total staff in Dallas and Fort Worth to 225.
BDO US chief executive Wayne Berson said there is a history of collaboration and business development between them through the existing alliance relationship.
"This familiarity will be extremely valuable as we integrate the practice with BDO," Berson said.
Hartman Leito & Bolt managing partner Alan Hawrylak said that joining BDO was a logical next in its growth.
"The firms have very compatible service philosophies that will make our transition into BDO as seamless as possible," Hawrylak said.
BDO US will have now two offices locations in both cities, Dallas and Fort Worth.
