Former AICPA executive joins Abacus Worldwide advisory board

James Metzler, a former member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) senior executive team, has joined the advisory board of Abacus Worldwide.

"Metzler is recognised by peers and firms alike as a thought leader to the profession," Abacus Worldwide said and added his appointment will be "a significant move for Abacus in terms of positioning itself as the association of choice for smaller firms looking to join an international grouping".

Previously Metzler has worked as vice president for the small firm interests for the AICPA and was a member of the AICPA senior management team.
