Grant Thornton UK has become one of the first companies to enrol young people on the Peter Jones Foundation's Level 5 Apprenticeship scheme, following its launch on 4 March.
Peter Jones is a British entrepreneur popularly known for being one of panellist of the BBC's television series Dragons' Den, where participants pitch business ideas to a panel of investors.
The scheme offers young people the chance to develop business and innovation skills and prepare for the workplace, while earning.
The firm said it was also working with its so- called programme Growth Accelerator to highlight the value of the apprenticeship across more than 10,000 organisations to help drive the take up of apprentices.
"We strongly believe in nurturing young talent and ambition to help them become the leaders and innovators of the future," Grant Thornton UK partner Sacha Romanovitch said.
