Companies are financially benefitting from having geographically well-distributed teams of people with diverse backgrounds and past experience, according to a global EY survey.
Those who rated in the EY survey their companies as "excellent" at building diverse teams are more likely to have achieved an earnings growth of more than10% over the past year.
EY has found surveyed companies who have become more geographically dispersed over the last three years have had higher EBIDTA growth rates.
Overall, EY found that over 60% of respondents said their companies' teams have become more diverse in the past three years and 55% said that their teams are now more geographically distributed.
