Andrew Manning has joined Crowe Clark Whitehill's not for profit team as an internal audit and risk consulting specialist.
Internal audits have been under pressure to deliver more value following the increased scrutiny the public benefit sector has recently faced.
Manning said: "We're increasingly seeing that clients want to drive more value from their internal audit provision and outsourcing or co-sourcing internal audit is often seen as a good option."
Manning previously worked at Deloitte and has over 20 years experience in risk consulting, governance and internal audit. He has worked with clients across multiple sectors, including charities such as the British Council, National Trust and Shelter.
